This is one of the first songs I wrote for my record, and after this, I knew the album wasn’t going to be folky like my EP was. As far as drinking during the day goes, I wouldn’t recommend it- except on Christmas which is when this song takes place. Unless the drinking is a metaphor, which I hope it is.
